Due to a recent increase in COVID-19 cases among our staff and companies we work with, Burns Dirt encourages employees to read the reminders below. We can all work together to ensure the health and safety of our families at work and at home.

Burns Dirt Construction, Inc. maintains a zero-tolerance policy for work attendance if an employee is experiencing symptoms of, or has tested positive for, COVID-19.

Common symptoms of COVID-19 include:

·      Fever and/or chills

·      Chronic cough

·      Shortness of break and/or difficulty breathing

Employees who experience the above symptoms should not report to work until they are fever and symptom free for 24 hours without the use of fever-reducing or symptom-altering medicine.

Notify your supervisor and stay at home if you are sick.

 If you test positive for COVID-19 you are required to provide proof of testing and stay home from work for 5 days or as directed by a health care professional before returning to work. Return to work excuses are required from a health care provider.
